Thunderbirds thump Sudbury
Soo Thunderbirds skated to a 6-2 win over the visiting Sudbury Nickel Barons in Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League action from Saturday.
Nic Tassone and Nathan Hebert had two-point games to pace the Thunderbirds, who got 21 saves from Brian Kment.
The Soo is home to the Abitibi Eskimos this afternoon in a 2 p.m. start time at John Rhodes Community Centre.
