The 2004 birth year skater explained why he opted to sign with the Voodoos.

“I chose Powassan because I have heard great things about the organization and their fan base,” he relayed. “I also chose Powassan because of its amazing record in past years.”

He described his style of play.

“I can bring a physical presence to the team along with defensive skill and some offensive play. I am also a determined player who works hard in every aspect of the game,” he added.

Voodoos vice president of hockey operations Mike Mackley noted that O’Dell “is a big and rangy defender who utilized his length well. He skates well for a big body and has continually improved his game on the offensive side of the puck.”
