Two of the top teams in the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League will face off tonight when the Soo Thunderbirds play host to the Powassan Voodoos in a 7:30 match at the Essar Centre.

The West Division-leading Thunderbirds take a record of 24-3-0 into the match against the Voodoos, who are in second place in the East Division with a 22-4-1 mark.

Powassan heads back to the north side of the International Bridge following a 6-0 blanking of the Soo Eagles on Friday night.

Michael Silveri and Nick Siracuse had two goals each to pace Powassan past a struggling Michigan Soo squad, which dropped to 10-17-1 with the home-ice setback.

The Eagles hit the road to play the Blind River Beavers tonight in a 7:30 match in the Milltown.
