Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League will play host to the Wisconsin Lumberjacks of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League in a pair of exhibition games this weekend.
Game 1 is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. while Game 2 is slated for 5 p.m. on Saturday. Both exhibition matches will be played at Pullar Stadium in the Michigan Soo.
The two American-based teams are able to face off against each other as there are presently no health organization limitations in Michigan despite the current restrictions in place in Ontario that have both the NOJHL and the SIJHL on a provincial hiatus.
The Eagles currently sit in second place in the West Division of the NOJHL with 35 points from a record of 17-6-1. Wisconsin, meanwhile, is in fifth place in the seven-team SIJHL with 13 points from a record of 6-17-1.
The two match-ups are scheduled to be aired live, via HockeyTV.com.
