No sooner was the trade freeze in the Ontario Hockey League lifted today that three separate transactions were finalized, Hockey News North has confirmed.

North Bay Battalion and Owen Sound Attack have exchanged centers. The Battalion sent 2000 birth year pivot Adam McMaster to the Attack in exchange for 2001 birth year skater Mitchell Russell. McMaster has 13 goals thus far this season and Russell has tallied five times.

London Knights have sent 2001 birth year center Dalton Duhart, two second round picks and a third round pick to the Barrie Colts for high-scoring, 1999 birth year defenseman Joey Keane. Duhart has six goals on the season while Keane has 20 points in 29 games.

And Sudbury Wolves have dealt the rights of 2000 birth year goalie Marshall Frappier to the Kingston Frontenacs for a sixth-round pick. Frappier has been playing with the French River Rapids of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
