Columbus day for Ottawa center
Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League have signed undrafted center Dante Salituro to a three-year, two-way, entry-level contract.
The small-sized Salituro, who has a 1996 birth date, has had a productive four-year Ontario Hockey League career with the Ottawa 67’s.
In 265 career games with the 67’s, Salituro has potted 111 goals, 149 assists, 260 points.
Salituro is coming off a career OHL campaign in 2015-2016 in which he posted 38-45-83 totals in 65 regular-season games before adding 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points in 5 playoff outings.
