Northern Ontario product Cameron Lamour has his first win as an Ontario Hockey League goaltender — and against his hometown team no less.

The 16-year old rookie earned third-star honours with a 21-save performance in backstopping the Saginaw Spirit to a 5-2 victory over the Sudbury Wolves tonight.

Lamour, who was just recalled to Saginaw from the Rayside-Balfour Canadians of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League, was a third-round pick of the Spirit from the Sudbury Wolves minor midgets at the 2016 OHL draft.

The youngster has now played in parts of 4 OHL games with Saginaw this season and has a 1-2-0 record, 2.21 goals against average and .901 save percentage.
