First look at newest Greyhound

It isn’t often that an Ontario Hockey League team adds a new player this late in the season.

But that’s what Soo Greyhounds did earlier this week when they inked free-agent centre Charley Graaskamp, pictured above.

The 6-foot-1, 180 pound Graaskamp had been playing high school hockey in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

A 1996 birth-year skater, Graaskamp is on the National Hockey League’s Central Scouting rankings for the 2014 draft.

  1. I am hoping that Charlie is the real deal – and think that he is cause why would Kyle go sign an American kid who no one had ever heard of around here to come in and take a spot on the roster. Welcome to Hound Town Charlie!
