Hounds top dog Anthony Salinitri
Soo Greyhounds made Anthony Salinitri of the Windsor Jr. Spitfires their first-round selection at the 2014 Ontario Hockey League draft that is being held today via the Internet.
The Greyhounds used the 17th pick of the opening round to take the 1998 birth-year skater.
Salinitri, a 5-foot-11, 165 pound centre, had 23 goals, 30 assists, 53 points in 41 games with the Spitfire major midgets over the course of the 2013-2014 season.
