Soo Greyhounds have settled their overage situation and are now down to the maximum three 20-year old players.

The Hounds today dealt overage forward Joe Carroll to the Peterborough Petes for a third round draft pick in 2022, a sixth rounder in 2023 and a 12th round selection in 2023.

Carroll was picked by the Hounds in the fourth round of the 2017 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft.

A seasoned skater, Carroll played in 171 games for the Hounds and totaled 43 goals, 47 assists, 90 points.

The departure of Carroll leaves the Soo with three overage players — defenseman Robert Calisti and forwards Cole MacKay and Tye Kartye.
