Hounds on the Knight shift

LONDON — Soo Greyhounds will be out to try to halt a fast moving Knight train this evening when they face off against the London Knights in a 7:00 p.m. start here at Budweiser Gardens.

The Knights are in first place in the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League with 79 points from a record of 38-11-3. Over their past 23 games, the Knights have a record of 21-0-2. Individually, Knights forward Easton Cowan — who was a first round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs at the 2022 National Hockey League draft — is on a 21 game point scoring streak.

The Greyhounds head into tonight’s game in third place in the Western Conference with 71 points from a record of 34-15-3.
