Hounds snag NHL draft prospect

Soo Greyhounds have themselves a new player, an undrafted Ontario Hockey Leaguer from Wisconsin who nonetheless is rated by National Hockey League Central Scouting for the 2014 draft.

The Greyhounds have signed 1996 birth-year centre Charley Graaskamp, who had been playing high school hockey in Eau Claire, Wisc.

The six-foot-one, 180-pound Graaskamp had 18 goals, 29 assists, 37 points in 22 games this 2013-2014 season for reigning Wisconsin state champion Eau Claire Memorial High School.

Graaskamp will report to the Hounds immediately.
