Soo boys in the 11th round
Two Sault Ste. Marie lads who ventured out of town to play during the 2023-2024 season were picked in the 11th round of the 2024 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft.
Forward Aiden Atkinson went to the Guelph Storm and defenseman Carter Kucher followed to the Flint Firebirds. Atkinson suited up for the AAA Under 16 Halton Hurricanes while Kucher played for the Toronto Titans.
