What’s wrong with Erie Otters?
Well-coached by Kris Knoblauch and Chris Hartsburg, Erie Otters have been a turnaround team this 2013-2014 Ontario Hockey League season.
After finishing 19th in the 20-team OHL in 2012-2013, Erie has been first overall for much of 2013-2014.
But the Otters have lost three straight games to fall to third overall, albeit with a still-very-impressive record of 43-13-2.
After beginning the current three-game skid by losing 6-3 to the Kitchener Rangers and falling 2-0 to the North Bay Battalion, Erie was drubbed 8-2 by the Soo Greyhounds on Saturday night at the Essar Centre.
Erie will try to halt its three-game losing streak on Monday night with a 7 p.m. road game in Sudbury against the Wolves.
