A home and home series spanning four games with the Wisconsin Lumberjacks has the Thief River Falls Norskies off to a 2-2-0 start to begin the 2021-2022 Superior International Jr. Hockey League regular season.

Three of the four games were decided by one goal with one of them going to overtime.

Thief River Falls scored 3-2 and 5-2 decisions while in between, Wisconsin posted a pair of 2-1 victories.

Forward Scott Bugarin has been the scoring star for Thief River Falls to date with four goals, two assists, six points in the four outings.

Meanwhile, between the pipes, goalie Matt Loney has played in three of the four games for Thief River Falls and has a 2-1-0 record with a sparkling 1.99 goals against average and a nifty .937 save percentage.
