Alpena wins…and needs players
Despite being short on players, the Alpena Flyers skated to a 3-0 win over the Michigan Wild in U.S. Premier Hockey League, Midwest Division play from Friday.
Hunter Myers stopped 17 shots to post the shutout for the injured-riddled Flyers, who are looking to add three skaters for the rest of the season.
