Balanced schedule for SIJHL

The seven member teams of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League will each play 48 regular season games in 2021-2022. The upcoming season will signify the SIJHL’s 20th anniversary.
As part of a balanced schedule, all teams will play one another eight times — four at home and four away.
The regular season slate will begin on September 17 with a planned wrap up on March 26. Playoffs are scheduled to start on April 1.
Home openers for the league’s seven teams are as follows.
- Dryden GM Ice Dogs Fort Frances Lakers, Friday September 17th, Dryden Memorial Arena;
- Thief River Falls Norskies Wisconsin Lumberjacks, Friday September 17, Ralph Englestad Arena;
- Kam River Fighting Walleye Thunder Bay North Stars, Saturday September 18, Nor West Arena;
- Red Lake Miners Dryden GM Ice Dogs, Saturday September 18, Cochenour Arena;
- Fort Frances Lakers Dryden GM Ice Dogs, Friday September 24, Ice for Kids Arena;
- Wisconsin Lumberjacks Thief River Falls Norskies, Friday September 24, Spooner Civic Center;
- Thunder Bay North Stars Thief River Falls Norskies, Friday October 8, Fort William Gardens.
