Cochrane, Red Lake transfer
A three player trade between the Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League and the Red Lake Miners of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League has been finalized.
Cochrane, looking to vacate the cellar of the NOJHL’s East Division, sent one forward to Red Lake — which is in second place in the SIJHL — in exchange for two other forwards.
The Crunch gets 2001 birth year skater Cole Anderson and 2003 birth year performer Logan Arsenault from the Miners for Ryan Hunter, who has a 2001 birth date.
Anderson was point-less in seven games with Red Lake this season while Arsenault produced one goal, one assist, two points in eight outings for the Miners.
As for Hunter, he netted two goals in three games for Cochrane this season.
