Frattinger’s three goals were the spark of a 6-2 Monday night victory that gave Dryden a three games to none lead in the best-of-seven series. Jordan Pfoh tallied twice for the Ice Dogs, Ryland Maier chipped in with a goal and an assist and Landen Stromme put up three helpers in support of the 27-save showing of Eric Clark.

Ryker Watt had both goals for Fort Frances.

• Elsewhere, Jacob Lamoureux scored the overtime winner as the Red Lake Miners edged the Thunder Bay North Stars by a 5-4 score. Thunder Bay now leads the series two games to one.
