Five straight wins have lifted the Dryden Ice Dogs back into contention among the top five teams of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League.

Two victories over the Kenora Islanders and solo triumphs over the Red Lake Miners, Fort Frances Lakers and first place Sioux Lookout Bombers have improved Dryden’s record to 22-13-2. Only five points stand between the top five teams of the SIJHL — Sioux Lookout, Kam River Fighting Walleye, Thunder Bay North Stars, Red Lake and Dryden.

Individually, the Ice Dogs of Dryden now have two 20-goal scorers in Max Roby and McLaren Paulsen.
