Kam River looks for a coach
Head coach Geoff Walker has departed the Kam River Fighting Walleye of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League after leading it to a championship in his only season at the helm.
Fighting Walleye general manager Kevin McCallum confirmed to Hockey News North that Walker has taken the head coach position with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Jr. Hockey League.
McCallum added that the Fighting Walleye is taking applications for its vacant bench boss position.
