The 20-year old Kramps clicked for 12 goals, 28 assists, 40 points in 37 regular season games for the Red Lake Miners in 2021-2022 and then added two goals, four assists, six points in 12 playoff outings for the SIJHL champs.

In making the move to Kam River, Kramps will be re-united with Fighting Walleye head coach Geoff Walker. Walker piloted Red Lake to the SIJHL championship last spring as the Miners ousted the Fighting Walleye in six games to take the title.

Walker has since gone from Red Lake to a pro coaching job in Sweden to returning to the SIJHL in December to take over as the head coach in Kam River.
