Net gain for Kam River
Following in the high marks crease class of graduated goalies Austin Madge and Eric Vanska over the past two seasons, the Kam River Fighting Walleye of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League has again come up with a top tender between the pipes.
The Fighting Walleye, which has the best winning percentage among the eight teams of the SIJHL heading into the 2024 segment of this season, has received standout net minding from Ashton Sadauskas to date.
Hailing from the Vancouver Island small town of Parksville, British Columbia and with a 2004 birth date, Sadauskas has been a net gain for Kam River in his first season with the Fighting Walleye. Sadauskas has a scintillating 15-1-0 record to go with a 2.34 goals against average and .910 save percentage. And he represents yet another ready to play recruit of the Fighting Walleye management and scouting staff.
