Tristan Takats got a late start to the 2021-2022 season for the Dryden Ice Dogs of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League.

But since returning to Dryden earlier this month, the 6-foot-5, 20-year old forward has lit it up to the tune of two goals, five assists, seven points in just four games for the Ice Dogs.

Dryden is home for a pair of games this weekend.

Coach Kurt Walsten’s Ice Dogs will play host to the Wisconsin Lumberjacks on Friday night before entertaining the Kam River Fighting Walleye on Saturday evening.

With a record of 4-5-1 and nine points, Dryden is tied for third place in the SIJHL standings with Kam River but the Fighting Walleye has three games in hand on the Ice Dogs.
