SIJHL commissioner is out
A ‘help wanted’ sign has been posted on the commissioner’s door of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League. Darrin Nicholas, who has served as SIJHL commissioner since 2020, is no longer on the job effective immediately.
As Nicholas has said he is “stepping down from his role” multiple sources have offered a different view, telling Hockey News North that Nicholas faced a firing squad if he didn’t resign.
Whatever the case, the SIJHL will soon have new leadership.
