SIJHL playoff picture

Six of the seven teams from the Superior International Jr. Hockey League will face off to begin the playoffs this week. All seven teams in the SIJHL qualify for the playoffs with the first place Kam River Fighting Walleye getting an opening round bye.

All series are best of seven and will feature no. 2 seed Dryden Ice Dogs v. no. 7 seed Fort Frances Lakers, no. 3 seed Sioux Lookout Bombers v. no. 6 seed Wisconsin Lumberjacks and no. 4 seed Thunder Bay North Stars v. no. 5 seed Red Lake Miners.

Quick predictions: Dryden over Fort Frances in four, Wisconsin with the upset over Sioux Lookout in six and Thunder Bay over Red Lake in six.
