Kam River Fighting Walleye is off to the Superior International Jr. Hockey League championship series. And the Dryden Ice Dogs are within one win of doing so.

Kam River 4, Wisconsin 1. Playing at home in front of more than 850 fans at Norwest Arena, the Fighting Walleye got two goals apiece from Kobe Braham and Anthony Oviedo to sideline the Lumberjacks in five games. In just its second full season of existence, Kam River is heading to the SIJHL finals for the second year in a row.

Dryden 5, Thunder Bay 4. Eric Clark came through with a 39-save effort and the visiting Ice Dogs took a 3-1 lead in the best of seven playoff set. Dryden can win the series at home on Monday night.
