SIJHL rivals make a deal
Thunder Bay North Stars and Kam River Fighting Walleye of the Superior International Jr. Hockey League have finalized a trade, Hockey News North has confirmed.
The deal between the crosstown SIJHL rivals sends 2002 birth year forward Curtis Giguere from Kam River to Thunder Bay for a player development fee.
A 5-foot-11, 170 pound skater who hails from the small northwestern Ontario town of Geraldton, Giguere is a graduate of the Kenora Thistles under 18 program.
