Alpena Flyers free tryout camp
How does a free tryout sound?
Alpena Flyers of the Midwest Jr. Hockey League will be holding their main tryout camp September 22-26 at Northern Lights Arena in Alpena, Mich.
The tryout camp will be followed by two weeks of practice heading into the Flyers first home game of the 2014-2015 MWJHL season on October 11.
The camp will run from 3:30 to 4:50 p.m. Monday through Friday and there will be no charge for players who wish to try out.
Currently, the team has open spots for forwards and defencemen.

The Alpena Flyers Junior Hockey Team will hold its 2014 Main Tryout Camp from September 22nd thru September 26th. This will be followed by two weeks of practice heading into our first game at home on October 11th. The camp will be held at Northern Lights Arena, 751 Woodward Ave. Alpena, MI, from 3:30pm to 4:50pm daily Monday thru Friday. There will be no charge for this camp.
Currently we have open spots for Forwards and Defensemen only.
Player cost for 2014-15 season; is $5500.00 player fee and $350.00 per month billeting fee. Helmets, Gloves, Pant Shells, Transportation to away games, Hotels and meals on the road will be included in the player’s fee. We also have a program in place where you can work off up to half of your player’s fee, bringing it down to $2750.00 not including billeting.

As a Fan of the League I hope that this new Team from Alpena will be more credable.
Last years Alpena Team was run verry poorly which I why I am happy that there are new Owner’s in Alpena.
