Best goalie in the Midwest

David Krejcik of the Traverse City Hounds has been named Goaltender of the Year in the Midwest Jr. Hockey League.

The award was voted on by the seven head coaches of the MWJHL.

This is the second consecutive season that Krejcik — who has a 1994 birth date — has been named MWJHL Goaltender of the Year.

This 2014-2015 season, Krejcik led all MWJHL goaltenders with a 21-2-1-1 record, 2.03 goals-against average, .937 save percentage and three shutouts for the first-place Hounds.
