Eagles on air at Port Huron

Four points out of the fourth-and-final playoff spot in the North Division of the North American Hockey League with seven games to play in the regular season, Soo Eagles are in Port Huron tonight and Sunday afternoon.

Game times are 7 p.m. tonight and 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN 1400 Radio with John Bell calling the play-by-play.

As the Eagles chase a playoff spot, their weekend opponents from Port Huron, the Fighting Falcons, are in first place in the North with 70 points.

Going into today’s action, the Soo has 53 points in 53 games and is tied with Springfield for fifth place with the Eagles holding a game in hand on the Jr. Blues.

Just ahead of the Soo and Springfield are the Janesville Jets and Johnstown Tomahawks with 57 points apiece.

Janesville has played 53 games while Johnstown has played 54.
