Detroit Fighting Irish of the Midwest Jr. Hockey League has tendered five more players as it continues to prep for the 2014-2015 season.
Fighting Irish coach-general manager Dan Vasquez has confirmed to HockeyNewsNorth.com that the MWJHL team has signed defencemen Todd Grzembski and Eric Long and forwards Chuck Hicks, Chase Tackett and Dominic Moore.
All five players are Michigan products and all have 1995 birth dates with the exception of Grzembski who was born in 1994.
Of particular note, Hicks and Tackett come to the Fighting Irish from the highly-regarded Detroit Belle Tire midget program.
Those are 5 good players that Detroit got I wish we had them let me tell you !
