Detroit Fighting Irish dominate the latest Midwest Jr. Hockey League players-of-the-week awards for the period ending Sunday, November 30.
The awards are voted on by MWJHL coaches, general managers and league staff.

Forward of the Week: Ken Winter, Detroit Fighting Irish
Winter tallied seven points last weekend as Detroit beat both the Michigan Ice Dogs and MC Monarchs.
Winter scored two goals in 6-2 win over the Ice Dogs and tallied once and added four assists as the Fighting Irish downed the Monarchs 8-5.
Defenseman of the Week: Cody Dombrowski, Detroit Fighting Irish
Dombrowski turned in a tidy two-game set over the weekend, finishing with a plus-minus rating of +4 and a perfect performance in penalty-kill situations for the Fighting Irish.
Goaltender of the Week: Chris Boyd, Michigan Ice Dogs
Boyd played in just one game last weekend but made 47 saves in Michigan’s loss to Detroit.
Rookie of the Week: Chase Tackett, Detroit Fighting Irish
Tackett tucked in two goals and added two assists in the pair of Detroit victories last weekend.

How about George Hill for Goalie of the Week as per Randy’s story when he led the Irish to a Win and only let in 2 goals: “Irish on top of the Hill”.
I agree about George. Based on the stat’s of last Weekend he should of got the Top Goaltender of the Week award.
