Three-way tie for fourth in NAHL North

The race for the fourth-and-final playoff spot in the North Division of the North American Hockey League appears headed down to the wire.

Soo Eagles, Springfield Jr. Blues and Janesville Jets are tied for fourth place with 49 points apiece.

Janesville actually has the edge on the Soo and Springfield with one game in hand on both teams.

The Jets have a record of 23-23-3, while the Eagles and Jr. Blues have identical marks of 21-22-7.

Janesville and Springfield face off against one another tonight.

The Eagles, meanwhile, will play host to the North Division-leading Port Huron Fighting Falcons tonight in a 7 p.m. match at Pullar Stadium.

The Eagles halted a six-game losing skid on Friday night with a 4-3 win over Port Huron.

All teams in the NAHL play a 60-game regular-season schedule.
