Here’s to Winter in the Midwest
It’s Winter time.
Ken Winter of the Detroit Fighting Irish has been named Midwest Jr. Hockey League Forward of the Year.
The award was voted on by the MWJHL’s seven head coaches.
Winter, who has a 1994 birth date, led Detroit in scoring during the 2014-2015 regular season with 34 goals, 21 assists, 55 points in 36 games.
